About Summer Camps

Each summer, CFCArts offers a variety of exciting summer camps for children and teens! From creative drama camps for younger children to advanced performance camps for older children and teens, these camps are designed to meet the students where they are. A fun, encouraging environment gives students the opportunity to explore the performing arts, work with talented, professional directors and choreographers, make new friends, and grow as a performer. Join us this summer!

CFCArts is a Florida Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities (FES, formerly Gardiner Scholarship) provider, and the FES can be used to cover program tuition! CFCArts financial assistance is limited and can be applied for in your student’s registration form (see below). Email theatre@cfcarts.com with any questions.

PLEASE NOTE there will be a seasonal $35 registration fee (link coming soon) per student, per summer.

Registration and Tuition Deadlines: Please submit one form per student as well as tuition and registration fee payment payment no later than the MONDAY 1 WEEK PRIOR to your student’s chosen camp(s) no later than 5 PM! (This is 1 week in advance for both registration and payments!)

Grades PreK-2 Camps: Please note that these camps are usually split between grades PreK-K and grades 1-2 to ensure a quality teacher-to-student ratio, but may be combined depending on enrollment.

Early Childhood Afternoon Arts Aftercare

Does your student want to take part in a morning camp, but your afternoons are full? Don’t worry – pick them up later with Afternoon Arts Aftercare! Our Aftercare program includes age-appropriate arts and crafts, activities, and games that are engaging and enjoyable for all students. Students in Afternoon Arts should bring a nut-free lunch and snack. Tuition is charged for the week, not by the day. Parents may pick up children any time before or at 6 p.m. Age: PreK-K Dates: June 10 - August 9 (weekly) Times: 12-6 p.m. Location: CFCArts Campus (250 SW Ivanhoe Blvd, Orlando 32804) Tuition: $150 per student per week Financial Assistance and Payment Plan Options are available as part of the registration process.

Elementary Create a Play Camp

Do you want to see your ideas come to life on stage? Join us for our Create a Play Camp! Students will learn the fundamentals of what it means to create a theatrical play from start to finish, from playwriting to performance. Campers will get the opportunity to help their plays come to life as all campers will get to perform as well as write these short original plays, and have input on elements such as costumes and sound effects, ending in a final showcase open to family and friends. Age: Grades 3-6 Dates: July 29 - August 2 (1 week) Times: 9 a.m.–5 p.m. (check-in from 8:45-9 a.m. | aftercare available until 6 p.m. for an additional fee) Location: First Congregational Church of Winter Park (225 S Interlachen Ave., Winter Park 32789) Tuition: $300 per student Financial Assistance and Payment Plan Options are available as part of the registration process.

Elementary Audition Camp

Young performers, join us for this audition preparation camp! Our Camp will teach performers all about the art of auditioning, whether they are a newcomer to the stage or a seasoned pro. This camp will develop students’ skills in not only acting, singing, and dancing for an audition, but also in selecting an audition song, dressing for the audition, preparing a resume and headshot, and more! All campers will participate in a juried mock audition on the camp’s final day, and will leave this camp with a headshot, resume, and at least one prepared audition song cut, along with a great set of audition skills. Middle and High School Advanced Performance Camp

CFCArts Campus 250 SW Ivanhoe Blvd, Orlando, FL, United States

Students in our Advanced Performance Camp, admitted by audition only, will develop high-level acting skills as they rehearse and prepare for a ticketed production of Shakespeare’s classic comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream open to the public! Students will take on thrilling roles, from the trickster spirit Puck to the graceful fairy queen Titania, in this comedic, imaginative, and uplifting production.  PLEASE NOTE: Auditions are required to enroll in this camp, which is open to advanced teenage performers, and not all students will be selected for this advanced camp. Auditions will determine whether or not a student is admitted to this camp, and callbacks will take place on the first day of camp, July 8, to determine roles.  Click to register for auditions on January 12-13 or March 1-2. About School Year Camps

This school year, CFCArts is offering theatre day camps for students in grades PreK-2 and 3-8 (and volunteer opportunities for students in grades 9-12) during regular school breaks and off days! Our theatre day camps will provide students of all ages with an exciting, engaging, and educational theatre arts experience in a safe, nurturing environment while caregivers are at work. Students will be able to grow their artistic skills and talents, gain self-confidence, and build friendships during these day camps!

Play in a Day camps are single-day camps, while Broadway Break camps have the option for students to participate in just one day, or multiple days at a discounted rate!
