Manager, Impact & Partnerships

Central Florida Community Arts (CFCArts) is seeking a full-time Manager of Impact & Partnerships to lead and measure impact initiatives across the organization while providing high-level support to program partners across the community.

The ideal candidate will be a skilled relationship builder with a commitment to equity. They will have a proven ability to develop programs, build consensus, and foster collaboration. They are able to balance attention to detail with a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment and have a collaborative, mission-driven approach to achieving goals.

Central Florida Community Arts is a multigenerational, multidisciplinary, performing arts organization. We are committed to providing opportunities for people at every stage of their lives to connect, serve, and perform on stages across our community. CFCArts boasts the largest community choir and symphony orchestra in the country, robust youth theatre programs, a big band, and an internationally recognized School of Arts & Health, proudly serving over 20,000 participants annually, starting as young as six weeks old all the way up to older adults in end-of-life stages. The people we serve are as diverse as our growing community and find joy in discovering or refining their inner artist.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and attend partnership meetings and research potential partners
  • Follow up with partners regarding program creation (i.e. funding model, scheduling, short/long term program goals, promotional materials, evaluation planning)
  • Create and manage partnership agreements and tracking database
  • Partner with the School of Arts & Health team to ensure appropriate planning, resources, and staffing for community programming
  • Participate in the recruitment, selection, training, and retention of Teaching Artists
  • Ensure compliance with grant and funding agreements, metrics, intended outcomes, and goals for impact
  • Collaborate with the School of Arts & Health team on grant applications and reports as appropriate
  • Cultivate relationships with participants, teachers, and community partners to increase DEIA impact and build a social justice network; supporting curriculum development to meet community needs
  • Represent CFCArts in the community and present on behalf of the organization
  • Strategize program promotion, expansion, and branding in partnership with the Marketing team
  • Research and implement qualitative & quantitative evidence-based evaluation methods
  • Support impact measurement, collection, and strategy across the organization
  • Champion inclusion, arts education, Social Determinants of Health, and the use of Creative Therapies, across CFCArts programming and throughout the community

WORK LOCATION
This position will be a hybrid of remote/virtual work and in-person. At least two days per week will be required in the office

COMPENSATION
Salary range: $40,000 - 50,000 DOE

Member Experience Manager, Choral & Instrumental Programs

Central Florida Community Arts (CFCArts) is seeking a part-time, nonexempt Member Experience Manager to serve as a leader in member experience, tracking, communication, and engagement for our volunteer performing members.

The ideal candidate has a passion for enågaging and serving our members and a desire to work alongside the Production Team to create dynamic and enriching rehearsal and performance experiences for our choral and instrumental ensembles. They have a proven ability to build relationships with members and co-workers, organize and maintain rosters for multiple ensembles during simultaneous seasons, and possess highly effective written and verbal communication skills. They have a member-centered vision to consistently evaluate and elevate the experiences of the people in our ensembles.

What You’ll Do

The Member Experience Manager, Choral & Instrumental Programs, is responsible for the following:

  • Create and maintain member rosters and tracking procedures for all Choral and Instrumental Ensembles
  • Create and maintain physical and printed material organization and storage procedures
  • Serve as the main member liaison by leading written and verbal communications with members and co-workers
  • Recruit and maintain communications with a team of volunteers for each ensemble for set-up, strike, and organization.
  • Explore methods of improving the experience of members at rehearsals and performance venues.

WORK LOCATION & SCHEDULE

This position is a part-time, nonexempt, salaried role that will require Sunday and evening availability. Days off may vary week to week based on performance needs of the ensembles. This position will be a hybrid of remote/virtual work and in-person. At least one day per week will be required in the office.

Youth Theatre Jr. Companies

A beginner theatre program for students in grades Pre-K through 2. The Jr. Companies perform three to four times a year, alongside the Jr. Troupe and Companies, featured in pre-show performances and in small roles within the larger production. Teaching Artists and Assistants are needed for this program. Stipends range from $150 to $500 per production depending on role, responsibilities, and length of program.

Youth Theatre Companies

An intermediate theatre program for students in grades 3 through 12. The Companies perform three to four times a year, alongside the Jr. Troupe and Jr. Companies, as the ensemble and featured roles within our productions. Teaching Artists and Assistants are needed for this program. Stipends range from $200 to $750 per production depending on role, responsibilities, and length of program.

Youth Theatre Jr. Troupe

An advanced, auditioned theatre program for students in grades 3 through 12. The Jr. Troupe perform three to four times a year, alongside the Companies and Jr. Companies, as the lead and supporting roles within our productions. Directors, Stage Managers, Music Directors, Choreographers, and more are needed for this program. Stipends range from $200 to $1,000 per production depending on role, responsibilities, and length of program.

Youth Theatre Troupe

A pre-professional, auditioned theatre program for students in grades 3 through 12, or grades 6 through 12, depending on the current production. The Troupe performs three to four times a year in full-scale musicals and plays. Directors, Stage Managers, Music Directors, Choreographers, and more are needed for this program. Stipends range from $250 to $1,000 per production depending on role, responsibilities, and length of program.

Youth Theatre Camps

Throughout the year, CFCArts runs dozens of performing arts camps during school holidays and summer break for students entering grades Pre-K through 12. These half-day and full-day camps, ranging from one day to multiple weeks, include acting, musical theatre, vocal music, choreography, creative drama, improv, playwriting, directing, audition technique, and more. Teaching Artists and Assistants are needed for these programs. Stipends vary per camp or intensive depending on role, responsibilities, and length of program.

Central Florida Community Arts’ School of Arts & Health is seeking Teaching Artists to provide high-level, cross-disciplinary arts education to students in group classes/workshops based on their training, experience, and abilities. We are hiring Teaching Artists to teach in the following categories. Please specify which area(s) in which you are interested. 

Teaching Artists will be skilled in one or more of the following arts disciplines: vocal and instrumental music, drama, fine art, dance & creative writing and capable of disseminating instruction to a diverse base of students.

Development Intern

Education Intern

The responsibility of the Education Intern is to assist in the daily operations, communications, membership, and preparations related to the Education programs at CFCArts. This includes the School of the Arts programs in Outreach, Arts and Wellness, Arts in Action and the Academy, as well as the Children and Youth Arts Programs in Musical Theatre, Vocal Music, and the Young Artists Orchestra. This internship is unpaid, with flexibility in schedule, duties, and goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Organize, prepare, and in some cases create and/or transport materials for Education programs
  • Communicate with Education program members, students, staff members, volunteers, and/or community partners regarding upcoming or ongoing programming
  • Assist in the research, preparation, and creation of Education curriculum and programs for future and current seasons
  • Other duties as assigned, and other duties as requested by intern to meet personal, professional, and/or educational goals
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to work at least 6 hours per week during the 9 AM to 6 PM working day of CFCArts, preferably with two days of availability (most Education internships at CFCArts are 9-10 hours per week)
  • Positive attitude and love of serving the community
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability and desire to work with and around children and families
  • Valid, current driver’s license
  • Regular access to a reliable personal vehicle (CFCArts Education programs exist on multiple campuses in the Central Florida area)
  • Regular access to a personal laptop computer with internet capabilities that can be used during working hours
