About the Youth Theatre Programs
Central Florida Community Arts’ Youth Theatre Programs are designed to train and educate young performers age 4 through 12th grade. We provide a place for young performers to showcase and hone their artistic skills, build friendships, and learn the value of giving back to their community. CFCArts Youth Theatre includes four different groups: Jr. Companies, Companies, Jr. Troupe, and Troupe.
Search by Grade or Group
Jr. Companies
Grades PreK-2
A place for our youngest performers to shine! Students in preschool through second grade learn age-appropriate acting, vocal, and dance roles. These young stars are featured in a pre-show performance and one or two big moments in the main show. No auditions are needed to join.
Companies
Grades 3-12
An inclusive, fun, and low-stress environment for students in 3rd grade and up to learn vital theatre skills. Companies include a variety of ages and abilities; no auditions required. These performers will have the opportunity to play ensemble and small feature roles.
Jr. Troupe
Grades 3-12
A place for students in 3rd grade and up who are ready for the spotlight! These young performers have a passion for the stage and are building important theatre skills by playing lead or supporting acting, dancing, and/or singing roles in our all-ages productions. Auditions are required for this group.
Troupe
Grades 3-12
(or Grades 6-12 based on show content)
A place for advanced students interested in pursuing the performing arts as a career! Students in the Troupe will perform in challenging full-length productions. Auditions are required, and age requirements vary by show. This is the highest level of CFCArts Youth Theatre Programs.
Camps
Grades PreK-12
Each summer and during some school breaks, CFCArts offers a variety of exciting summer camps for children and teens! From creative drama camps for younger children to advanced performance camps for older children and teens, these camps are designed to meet the students where they are. A fun, encouraging environment gives students the opportunity to explore the performing arts, work with talented, professional directors and choreographers, make new friends, and grow as a performer.

Meet Daisy, a passionate young actress, whose story in the Youth Theatre program reflects the power of community, inclusion, and creativity. Through Youth Theatre, Daisy has found a place where she could find herself, follow role models (and become one herself), learn new skills, and be part of something bigger than one person.
Watch Daisy’s journey and see how programs like Youth Theatre provide life-changing growth for the youngest members of our community.
