We are excited to announce the 2022-23 inaugural CFCArts Student Advisory Panel! Panel members have the opportunity to…

  • Help shape the future of CFCArts youth theatre programs by weighing in on things like show selections, program procedures, extra opportunities, class and camp offerings, and more.
  • Make and discuss suggestions for the CFCArts youth theatre programs with fellow student leaders and CFCArts leadership.
  • Receive an official CFCArts badge, complimentary tickets to most CFCArts productions, media opportunities, and other perks.
  • Gain an impressive experience for resume and college applications.
  • Serve as the Youth Theatre Program Ambassador for CFCArts.

The Student Advisory Panel meets every 6-8 weeks throughout the school year, with meetings scheduled at the Panel members’ availability. Panel members are expected to attend meetings regularly, as well as other CFCArts events as able.

The next round of Student Advisory Panel applications will open in summer 2023.

Mackenzie is 13 years old and in eighth grade. She has been performing with CFCArts for five years. Mackenzie has performed in numerous shows, her favorites being, Willy Wonka Jr. (Willy Wonka) and Charlotte’s Web (Templeton). She is excited for this new opportunity to be part of the Student Advisory Panel for CFCArts. Mackenzie looks forward to what she can bring to this group.

Robyn has been a student with Central Florida Community Arts for almost two years and has discovered a passion for theatre and dance through their Youth Theatre Program. She has attended leadership camps through her American Heritage Girl Troop where she learned various skills such as organization, teambuilding, service, and goal setting. Robyn was also one of the first members of her troop’s Girl Leadership Council and was elected as the Second Officer of the council. She was elected as the President of the Science National Honors Society. This year her group participated in competitions like CubeSat, where they aimed to create satellites that could detect colored plastic. Robyn is excited about the new experience that being a part of the Student Advisory Panel will give her and she looks forward to working with the other students and staff.

Mila is so honored to be serving in Central Florida Community Arts’ inaugural Student Advisory Panel! She loves everything theatre and is an active and involved student at Galileo School for Gifted Learning. She also enjoys reading, writing, art, spending time with friends and family, and serving in her school and community. Mila has developed leadership and citizenship skills including service in various roles in Student Government throughout the years as Class Representative and Vice President, FFEA, Odyssey of the Mind and other clubs/activities. Mila has participated at CFCArts in The Sound of Music and as a volunteer. She will be performing as Eliza Mayhew in CFCArts’ upcoming production of Sherlock Holmes and the Baker Street Irregulars. Some of her most notable/favorite roles include Little Red Ridinghood in Into the Woods Jr., Amy March in Little Women, and Annie in Magic Tree House: A Ghost Tale for Mr. Dickens Jr. Mila highly values and appreciates the focus on community, connection, education, inclusion, and service that CFCArts supports and provides. She is so excited and eager to be a student advocate as a part of the CFCArts Student Advisory Panel!
Carina Cook

Carina (they/them) is a tenth-grade drama major at the Osceola County School for the Arts. Their career ambition is being a professional actor. They have been in several Central Florida Community Arts productions, the most recent being From the Mouths of Monsters. Carina has also performed with the CFCArts Youth Vocal Ensemble, participated in summer camps, and taken classes at the Academy. Carina relocated to Florida with their family in 2017 after growing up in northern New York State. CFCArts provided a valuable opportunity for them to continue developing their acting skills. It also allowed them to make new friends in the big city and presented a chance to help other people in the community. Carina is excited to work with leaders of the CFCArts organization and to represent the “theatre kids” of CFCArts.

Hannah-Kate is fourteen years old and a ninth grader at Circle Christian School. She was initially introduced to Central Florida Community Arts in the first grade at a local fall festival booth, and her life has never been the same since. She is currently in her twentieth show with CFCArts and has also been involved in the Children’s and Youth Vocal Ensembles and summer camps. Her favorite role to date is MonsterShelley in From the Mouths of Monsters. She has grown to love the community she has found at CFCArts, and it has become an integral part of her life. She also enjoys serving at her church, drawing, reading, mango dragonfruit refreshers from Starbucks, and learning obscure pieces of information to randomly blow your mind.

Max is thrilled to have been selected for the Central Florida Community Arts Student Advisory Panel. He has multiple ideas and suggestions to help enhance the Youth Theatre Programs. His CFCArts experiences include: Grandpa Joe in Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka Jr., Dr. Watson in Sherlock Holmes and the Baker Street Irregulars, and the youth audition camp this past summer. He has shown leadership abilities through STEM, TV production and theatre. He thanks CFCArts for this experience and is ready to help them take the next big leap.
Madison Marks

Madison is in ninth grade at Orangewood Christian School and is excited to be a part of the Central Florida Community Arts Student Advisory Panel. At age six, she first performed in Disney’s Cinderella Jr. at CFCArts and has been passionate about theatre and singing ever since. Henceforth, she has been a part of theater productions both in the Midwest and Central Florida. Her favorite performances include The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Disney’s The Lion King Jr, and Aida. She has also been a part of different choirs, including Select Choir of MCA, regional Treble Honor Choir Festival, and school choirs. Currently, she is involved with TUMC Praise Team and Choir, Orlando Choral Society, and her school’s Thespian Club. In her pastime, she enjoys singing, playing piano, creating a variety of projects, and playing with her younger sisters.

Daisy is excited to be part of the Central Florida Community Arts Student Advisory Panel. She is in seventh grade at Millennium Middle where she focuses on Musical Theater, Theater, and Pre-IB classes. Daisy is currently Pockets in Sherlock Holmes and the Baker Street Irregulars. Daisy has been a Handmaiden and Nubian in Aida, Bagheera in Disney’s The Jungle Book Kids, Agnes in Meet Me in St. Louis, Sharpay in Disney’s High School Musical Jr., Gaelen in Legally Blonde Jr., Elf and Boggle in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, and various roles in Disney’s Frozen Jr. and Disney’s Moana Jr. Daisy loves performing and helping others learn about musical theatre. Daisy would like to thank her mom and brother for their support of her theatre journey. Daisy would like to thank her directors Leah, Erin, Megan, Jessica, and Hayden as well as Josh, Rachel, and Charis for all their behind the scenes work.  
Jacob Steele

Jacob is thrilled to be a part of Central Florida Community Arts’ Student Advisory Panel. Jacob started with CFCArts in 2017 taking private acting lessons. In 2021, he joined the CFCArts Youth Theatre Troupe productions of The 39 Steps and The Sound of Music, and participated in the Advanced Performance Camp’s summer performance of Disney’s Frozen Jr. That summer, he was also cast as Little Boy in the CFCArts concert benefit production of Ragtime. Jacob has performed in 27 youth, community and professional productions throughout Orlando. His favorites include Peter Cratchit in A Christmas Carol (Orlando Shakes) and Nigel in Matilda (Garden). He has been a William Daniels Mills Apprentice at Garden Theatre and is a student of the Sarah-Lee Dobbs Studio. Jacob is looking forward to this new opportunity and is excited to contribute to CFCArts, an organization that he holds dear to his heart.
