Elementary Spotlight Sampler Theatre Camp

The Summer Sampler camp will incorporate exciting, hands-on activities to introduce students to a palette of various performing arts experiences! It is a creative drama camp to prepare prospective campers for future camps they may attend throughout the summer and beyond, but is also a great opportunity for those looking towards the arts but unsure where to begin. This one-week camp provides prospective young artists with an introduction to the elements of theatre including singing, dancing, acting, and more. Age: Grades 3-6 Dates: June 10-14 (1 week) Times: 9 a.m.–5 p.m. (check-in from 8:45-9 a.m. | aftercare available until 6 p.m. for an additional fee) Location: First Congregational Church (225 S Interlachen Ave., Winter Park 32789) Tuition: $300 per student Financial Assistance and Payment Plan Options are available as part of the registration process.

Ace Your Audition (Ages 8-12)

Young performers, join us for this audition preparation camp! Our Ace Your Audition Camp will teach performers all about the art of auditioning, whether they are a newcomer to the stage or a seasoned pro. This camp will develop students’ skills in not only acting, singing, and dancing for an audition, but also in selecting an audition song, dressing for the audition, preparing a resume and headshot, and more! All campers will participate in a juried mock audition on the camp’s final day, and will leave this camp with a headshot, resume, and at least one prepared audition song cut, along with a great set of audition skills! Dates: July 31 - August 4 (1 week) Times: 9am-5pm (check-in from 8:45-9am, aftercare available until 6pm for an additional fee) Tuition: $350 per student  

Musical Theatre Audition Camp (Ages 13-17)

Do you want to ace your next audition? Join us for this audition preparation camp! Our Musical Theatre Audition Camp will hone your audition skills, whether you are a newcomer to the stage or a seasoned pro. This camp will develop students’ skills in not only acting, singing, and dancing for an audition, but also in developing musical audition repertoire, presenting yourself professionally for an audition, preparing a resume and headshot, and more! Campers will participate in a juried mock audition on the final day, and will leave this camp with a headshot, resume, and at least one prepared audition song cut, along with a great set of audition skills. Imaginative Improv (Ages 8-12)

Is your young performer a budding comedian? Do they have an active imagination? Do they love to “make ’em laugh”? Join us this summer in our Imaginative Improv Camp! Our young comedians of all experience levels are sure to have a laugh a minute as they make friends and gain essential improv comedy skills that will get ‘em “rolling in the aisles,” including character and scene creation, physical comedy, and improv games and activities! On the final day of camp, family and friends will be treated to an improv comedy show featuring our campers! Do you want to be an actor? Join us for our Acting Camp! This camp will train talented teen performers in the art of theatre. Participants will quickly gain high-level skills in the areas of characterization, scene work, improv, and monologue, culminating in a theatre showcase. Campers will perform in an acting showcase open to family and friends on the final day. Dates: July 24-28 (1 week) (also offered June 19-23) Times: 9am-5pm (check-in from 8:45-9am, aftercare available until 6pm for an additional fee) Tuition: $350 per student  

Enchanted Ever After (Ages 8-12)

Don’t just sit there “waiting on a miracle” this summer – join us for a musical theatre camp that’s sure to be Enchanted Ever After! Just like “the family Madrigal”, campers will learn to embrace their inner gifts and bring them to life on stage as they act, sing, and dance their way through the week! On the final day of camp, our little oruguitas will blossom into butterflies as they dazzle in a magical musical theatre showcase for family and friends. Students will learn the fundamentals of what it means to be a playwright, gaining both basic and advanced skills in writing for the stage. Campers will get the opportunity to help their plays come to life, directed by our talented teen directors in our Directing Camp! All campers will get to perform as well as write these short original plays, ending in a final showcase open to family and friends. Dates: July 17-21 (1 week) (also offered June 5-9) Times: 9am-5pm (check-in from 8:45-9am, aftercare available until 6pm for an additional fee) Tuition: $350 per student

Campers will get the opportunity to direct their peers in short plays written by our talented teen writers in our Playwriting Camp! All campers will get to perform as well as direct in these short original plays, ending in a final showcase open to family and friends. Fun with the Force (Ages 8-12)

Whether having epic battles or exploring new planets, our campers will learn all about the power of theatre through astronomical adventures! Everyone loves a hero, but we all know that sometimes it’s “good to be bad!” We’re calling all Villains and Victors to join us this summer and learn “so many ways to be wicked” in this maleficent– we mean, magnificent– musical theatre camp! We know our campers aren’t really “rotten to the core”, but they’ll have so much fun pretending as they learn vital theatre skills in acting, singing, and dancing! Campers will love “chillin’ like a villain” and making new friends while preparing a stunning showcase for family and friends on the camp’s final day.
