Hello and Welcome to Yule Be Sorry You Asked!

Thank you for choosing to spend part of your holiday season with us! We know this time of year can be full of demands on your time and energy, and we’re truly grateful you’re here. Your reward is a heartwarming, funny, and thoroughly enjoyable afternoon!

It’s been a real treat for the Narrators to work on a holiday show – and what’s better than doing one with kids? Especially the phenomenally talented kids from CFCArts Youth Theatre! Watching these young performers bring humor, honesty, and heart to every scene has been a joy, and the collaboration has been a wonderful cross-generational experience. We recommend that every senior connect with someone from a younger generation whenever you can – you definitely won’t be sorry you asked!

Many thanks to Leah Porrata, Youth Theatre Artistic Director, and Hayden Patterson, the Youth Theatre Program Manager, for facilitating this partnership, and to Justin Muchoney for encouraging it.

And, of course, no list of acknowledgements would be complete without mentioning Anthony Francis and Sara Breitfelder – my partners in crime, hilarity, and theatre expertise. The show would certainly not be the same without them!

Yule Be Sorry You Asked celebrates the chaos, comedy, and connection of the holidays – the moments that make us laugh, roll our eyes, and remind us why we gather together. We hope today’s performance brings a little light and laughter to your season, and we invite you to join us again for future CFCArts concerts, plays, and youth programs, all designed to bring our community together through the arts. We’d love to see you at a future production – and maybe even on stage with us one day!

Happy holidays!
