Hello and Welcome to CFCArts’ Little Women!
Little Women goes down in history as one of the first novels to center around fully-developed female characters, and what you are about to see is a heartwarming tale that is surprisingly as relevant today as it was in the 1860s. It is a lovely story that emphasizes the importance of friendship, familial connection, and staying true to oneself while striving for personal growth. I’m sure we can all resonate and laugh with the March sisters and their friends as they strive to be less selfish, more compassionate, and more joyful in difficult circumstances.
It has been my joy to direct this cast of funny, thoughtful, and spectacularly talented young actors. Every good and virtuous thing we can say about the March sisters, I can also say about each kid in this play. They are such hard workers, and I have seen them challenge themselves and extend so much warmth and kindness to one another throughout this rehearsal process.
My hope is that you, the audience, can take inspiration from the cast and characters in Little Women. May we continuously work to spread love and cheer to our neighbors, listen to understand, and never stop searching for moments to laugh and learn with those we call family.
Much love, and enjoy the show!

Emma has been doing theatre for nine years and has been in 25 productions, with Little Women being number 26! She is so excited to be performing in this show, because it is one of her favorites! Emma has most recently been featured at Little Radicals Theatrics in Anastasia, Seussical, and Matilda and at CFCArts in A Christmas Carol. Emma would like to thank her parents, the cast and crew of Little Women, and countless others who have helped and supported her through her acting journey!
