Hello and Welcome!
Welcome to Jukebox Jam, a mesmerizing musical journey through the decades, where the magic of records, 8-tracks, tapes, and CDs come to life. Prepare to be transported to different eras as we celebrate timeless hits from the 1950s and beyond.
In this vibrant concert, we will take you on a nostalgic ride through the golden age of rock ‘n’ roll, the groovy 70s, the vibrant 80s, and the iconic 90s. Each decade will be represented by a medley of unforgettable songs that will have you singing, dancing, and swaying to the rhythm.
As you settle into your seats, imagine the crackling of vinyl records and the warm hiss of cassette tapes. Let the melodies of the 50s and 60s carry you away, with hits like “Chapel of Love” and “These Boots are Made for Walkin’.” As we move forward in time, the energy will shift to the disco era, and to the infectious beats of “Don’t Stop Me Now” and the heartwarming melody of “Love Can Build a Bridge.”
For the last 3 months, over 260 incredible members of our choir have gathered to create community, comradery, and breathtaking moments of music. For nearly 15 years, Monday nights have been a highlight for our team and hundreds of members seeking a place to belong, connect, and use their talents. We are incredibly grateful to our team, board, and countless volunteers for their relentless support and hard work to make the work of CFCArts a reality for anyone looking for a place to belong.
The music of decades past holds a special place in our hearts, evoking nostalgia for first loves and prom nights. These tunes transport us back to a time of youthful innocence and excitement. They remind us of the dreams we had, the risks we took, and the friendships we forged. As we listen to these songs today, they serve as a reminder of the power of music to capture and preserve our most cherished moments. They allow us to relive the magic of those special times – even if only for a fleeting moment.
Let’s jam!
