Presented by the Pabst Steinmetz Foundation

Hello and Welcome!

As you settle in and wait for the show to start, we invite you to reflect on a few questions about your high school experience:

 Who was your favorite teacher?
 What was your biggest accomplishment?
What was the silliest thing you did?

These are the kinds of questions the Narrators answered – and laughed over – this summer as we prepared for this show. The idea of spoofing a high school reunion was conceived by member Susan Jackman, and from there we quickly dove into sharing the highs and lows of our own formative years.

As we worked on the first portion of the show, professional playwright and performer Katie Thayer joined the fun, writing the second section, “Assemble the Turkeys.” It’s incredible how quickly Katie understood and embraced our individual stories and quirkiness. Thanks, Katie.

For this performance, we invite you to join us at the imaginary multi-class reunion of our fictitious school, Harvey Keck High. And, of course, to answer the burning question: who the heck is Harvey Keck???

Special thanks to Betsy Brantley and Larry Stallings for joining us, to Lettie Myers for her fabulous musical talents, and to the entire CFCArts staff for their support. And we certainly wouldn’t have been able to accomplish anywhere near what we did without the incredible work of Anthony Francis and Sara Breitfelder.

So sit back, think back to your own glory days, and enjoy the show!

Sincerely,
Christine Hicks
