Hello and Welcome!
Happy Holidays from all of us here at Central Florida Community Arts! We are overjoyed that you chose to spend this magical time of year with us, here at A Big Band Christmas! This year, the CFCArts Big Band presents a seasonal celebration filled with holiday cheer, just for you! We invite you to sit back, relax, and enjoy “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year.”
A Big Band Christmas is brought to stage by a 50-member ensemble made up of instrumentalists from all over our local community! The music and energy you are going to experience today is a result of our organization’s primary mission: to build community. The Big Band’s shared love of music has united and inspired our audiences for years and continues to grow each season.
We welcome you to unwrap the magic of the holiday season with us through a unique blend of holiday favorites and modern-day hits. With beloved holiday classics like “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” “Winter Wonderland,” and “Joy to the World,” our ensemble creates a nostalgic warmth that will transport you back to your childhood Christmas memories. This year, we have also included some musical surprises and twists on your favorite songs including “(Not So) Silent Night,” “It Came a Samba Midnight Clear,” and so many more.
We hope this season is full of happiness, joy, peace, and time spent together with family and friends, and we hope CFCArts is part of creating new memories this year. Thank you for your support of CFCArts and our Big Band in 2024, and we can’t wait to see what the next year has in store!
