Around the World at Christmas Program

Hello and Welcome!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! We’d like to welcome you to Around the World at Christmas! We are so excited to be celebrating this wonderful time of the year with you. This year, the Central Florida Community Arts Choir celebrates its 14th annual holiday extravaganza, and we have some incredible music prepared for you tonight! We invite you to sit back, clap your hands, stomp your feet, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the season.

Around the World at Christmas is the culmination of hundreds of hours of rehearsal, singing, but most importantly building community together. Rooted in the history of the CFCArts choir is the sense of pride and celebration of our members, their backgrounds, and the shared experiences that foster an environment of learning and acceptance. While many in our choir join for the experience of singing, we have a diverse member group which includes those from other countries, different languages, varying cultures, and much more! Getting to hear some of our members sing and teach others in their native language has been an incredible experience this season which we hope will resonate on the stage and into the audience.

So much of the music from the Christmas season is rich and impactful and is often rooted in stories and languages from other countries and cultures around the world. We hope the familiarity in these arrangements will bring a sense of nostalgia, while simultaneously giving you a feeling of peace in the good-will spirit of the season and global themes of peace on earth.

We hope this season is full of happiness, joy, peace, and that the time spent together with family and friends brings new memories and impact to your life. Thank you for your support of CFCArts and the CFCArts Community Choir in 2024, and we can’t wait to see what the next year has in store!
