Hello and Welcome!

I have been a part of this fantastic theatre family at CFCArts for many years as a parent, volunteer, teaching artist, and now… director! I am a Performing Arts Educator teaching K-5 general music and middle school fine arts electives at Galileo Gifted School. I cannot think of a better production for my directing debut at CFCArts than Annie Jr.! This story touches my heart, being adopted and creating a family through foster care and adoption.

There’s nothing a rag-tag group of loving orphans cannot overcome, even with all the maybe’s of the great depression in the 1930’s! Annie, being such an optimistic child, spunky and unique, finds her family in those who adore her, like Oliver Warbucks who gains a new and warming perspective through Annie’s eyes. This story gives us hope, to be a little kinder, a little wiser, a little more loving, because the sun will come out “Tomorrow!”

This production has over 100 performers and an amazing creative team! The amount of dedication is astounding and a privilege to be a part of. The process from our first read, blocking, and harmonizing to the stage has created such confidence and these young performers are growing in character, voice, and lifelong love for the arts. Be proud, families – be very proud!

Please enjoy!
