We are incredibly excited to begin the casting process of non-equity actors for this timeless production. Central Florida Community Arts and all of Central Florida is home to so much talent and we cannot wait to bring those talents together on stage to create a magnificent performance!

Show Description
Step into the enchanted world of Broadway’s classic, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast: In Concert, an international sensation that has been produced in 37 countries worldwide. Based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature, the stage version includes all of the wonderful songs written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice. The original Broadway production ran for over thirteen years and was nominated for nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical. This concert version will bring you right into the magic!
The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

BelleA vibrant, intelligent girl who wants more out of life than an ordinary existence. She is optimistic, fun-loving, caring, and eager to experience life. Gender: Female or Female-Presenting |
BeastA Prince transformed into a terrifying beast for his lack of compassion. He is hot-tempered and commanding, but has a warm, loving heart buried far beneath his gruff exterior. Gender: Male or Male-Presenting |
GastonThe egotistical, ultra-masculine villain who is determined to marry Belle. He is manipulative yet charming and earnest. Gender: Male or Male-Presenting |
MauriceBelle's loving, eccentric relative. A child at heart and inventor in their own world. Gender: Male- or Female-Presenting |
Mrs. PottsA warm-hearted, maternal enchanted teapot. She is loyal, caring, and playful. Gender: Female or Female-Presenting |
LumiereA suave, debonair enchanted candelabra. He is a loyal and steadfast servant. Gender: Male or Male-Presenting |
CogsworthThe British major-domo of the castle who is becoming a clock. He shows a fatherly compassion for Belle yet is perfectly submissive to the master, the Beast. Gender: Male or Male-Presenting |
ChipAn enchanted teacup and Mrs. Potts' darling child. They are innocent, playful, and bright-eyed. Gender: Male- or Female-Presenting |
BabetteA saucy, enchanted feather-duster, and the object of Lumiere's affections. She is the playful, gorgeous, seductive French maid. Gender: Female or Female-Presenting |
Madame De La Grande BoucheA former opera diva-turned-enchanted wardrobe. They have a caring, refined, larger than life personality. Gender: Male- or Female-Presenting |
LefouGaston's bumbling sidekick. They are loyal, energetic, and optimistic, but not quite the brightest. Gender: Male- or Female-Presenting |

The first round of auditions for non-equity actors for Beauty and the Beast In Concert will take place via video submissions.
