Musical Minds is a sing-along choir for adults experiencing the early stages of memory loss, dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. Choir members are accompanied by their care partners (who are welcome to sing with the choir or sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful music). Research suggests that making music, such as singing or playing an instrument, is a great way to stimulate the brain and promote brain health. With that in mind, Musical Minds provides a fun place for members to meet others living with memory loss and exercise their brains.
Musical Minds is not performance-based. Members gather throughout the year, and all are welcome to drop in as their schedule allows.
