Do you want to be a theatre professional? A choreographer, director, stage manager, or other artist? Aspiring theatre artists looking for an advanced, selective summer experience, look no further. Students in our Advanced Production Camp will learn advanced, high-level skills in their chosen area of artistry as they prepare to produce Disney’s 101 Dalmatians Kids starring our campers ages 4-12. Students in the Advanced Production Camp will learn from professional mentors and gain valuable real-world experience for their resumes and portfolios. If your star is ready to take the stage, our Musical Performance Camp is for them! Campers in our Musical Performance Camp will learn skills in acting, singing, and dancing as they prepare to perform in a musical theatre production of Disney’s 101 Dalmatians Kids open to the public with full sets, costumes, props, lighting, sound, and more! Our campers will take on well-known roles in this timeless “tail”, from the proud Pongo to the calculating Cruella de Vil! Family and friends can purchase tickets to see their stars shine in Disney’s 101 Dalmatians Kids. PLEASE NOTE: Auditions are required to enroll in this camp! No experience required. Auditions: Create a video recording of your student acting out 1 or 2 show monologues (click here for monologues and character descriptions) and singing at least 30 seconds of a musical theatre song (with an accompaniment/karaoke track only - no background vocals, no a cappella!). Participants will quickly gain high-level skills in the areas of characterization, scene work, improv, and monologue, culminating in a theatre showcase. Campers will perform in an acting showcase open to family and friends on the final day. Safari on stage with us this summer, as we dance, sing, and act out adventures all about crazy creatures from around the world! Our amazing animals will perform in a swingin’ musical theatre showcase for family and friends on the final day of camp. Our fairytale characters will experience the magic of theatre through fantastic songs, dances, and dramas worthy of any storybook! If your student is a wizard with a pencil, this camp will let them make their own magic – on stage! Budding writers will come together to bring their Wizarding Words to life by creating their very own original play, set in the magical world we all know and love. The magic of theatre will take our campers on amazing adventures, from potions class to flying on broomsticks, all while learning and building playwriting, storytelling, and theatre skills! Campers will get to perform their original play for family and friends in a spellbinding showcase on the final day of camp.
