This is a 3 week auditioned musical theatre camp culminating in 3 ticketed shows of Disney’s The Aristocats KIDS. Based on the beloved Disney animated film, and featuring a jazzy, upbeat score, Disney’s The Aristocats KIDS is a non-stop thrill ride of feline fun, complete with unbelievable twists and turns. In the heart of Paris, a kind and eccentric millionairess wills her entire estate to Duchess, her high-society cat, and her three little kittens. Laughs and adventure ensue as the greedy, bumbling butler pulls off the ultimate catnap caper. Now it’s up to the rough-and-tumble alley cat, Thomas O’Malley, and his band of swingin’ jazz cats to save the day. Join this superb show for 3 weeks full of music, dance, and acting rehearsals whilst also focusing on themes of family, friendship and fun! 

PLEASE NOTE: Auditions are required to enroll in this camp, which is open to advanced young performers, and not all students will be selected for this advanced camp. Auditions will determine whether or not a student is admitted to this camp, and callbacks will take place on the first day of camp, July 14, to determine roles. 

How to Audition: Please send a recording to theatre@cfcarts.com of your student performing 2 of the monologues found here, as well as 30-60 seconds of them singing a musical theatre song (not from Aristocats) to an accompaniment-only (karaoke) track without any backing vocals. We cannot accept a cappella (unaccompanied) singing.

Grades: Rising 3-6
Tuition: $500 per student
Dates: July 14-August 2 (3 weeks, shows August 1-2)
Times: 
– 9 AM-5 PM (Check-in 8:45-9 AM; check-out promptly at 5 PM)
– August 1 show at 7 PM (supervision provided between camp day and show)
– August 2 shows at 2 PM and 7 PM (call time 12:30 PM; supervision provided between shows)
Location:
– Weeks 1-2 and Monday to Wednesday of Week 3 (July 14-30) at First Congregational Church of Winter Park, Fellowship Hall Building (225 S Interlachen Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789)
– Thursday through Saturday of Week 3 (July 31-August 2) at Trinity Preparatory School, Black Box Theater (5700 Trinity Prep Lane Winter Park, FL 32792)

* Aftercare available for all ages 5-6 PM each day for $50/week
** There is a registration fee of $35 per student, which covers all enrollments in Youth Theatre Camps from June to August 2025
