Students in our Advanced Performance Camp, admitted by audition only, will develop high-level acting skills as they rehearse and prepare for a ticketed production of the hilarious new comedy open to the public! This clever and inventive play never goes more than a minute without a laugh, giving you a new look at a familiar adventure from the perspective of three potential heroes just trying to make it through a magic school that proves to be very dangerous for children. Alongside them are the Puffs, a group of well-meaning, loyal, lovable, and relatable outsiders. Their hilariously heartfelt and epic journey takes the classic story to new places and reimagines what a boy wizard hero can be.

PLEASE NOTE: Auditions are required to enroll in this camp, which is open to advanced teenage performers, and not all students will be selected for this advanced camp. Auditions will determine whether or not a student is admitted to this camp, and callbacks will take place on the first day of camp, June 9, to determine roles.

Grades: Rising 7-12
Tuition: $500 per student
Dates: June 9-28 (3 weeks, shows June 27-28)
Times:
– 9 AM-5 PM (Check-in 8:45-9 AM; check-out promptly at 5 PM)
– June 27 show at 7 PM (supervision provided between camp day and show)
– June 28 shows at 2 PM and 7 PM (call time 12:30 PM; supervision provided between shows)
Location:
– Weeks 1-2 (June 9-20) at First Congregational Church of Winter Park (225 S Interlachen Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789)
– Week 3, Monday-Wednesday (June 23-25), at First Congregational Church of Winter Park (225 S Interlachen Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789)
– Week 3, Thursday-Saturday (June 26-28), at Trinity Preparatory School (5700 Trinity Prep Lane Winter Park, FL 32792)

* Aftercare available for all ages 5-6 PM each day for $50/week
** There is a registration fee of $35 per student, which covers all enrollments in Youth Theatre Camps from June to August 2025
