About the Youth Theatre Programs
The CFCArts Youth Theatre Programs are designed to train and educate young performers, age 4 through 12th grade, in the performing arts. CFCArts’ Youth Theatre Programs have grown into an artistic community where each young performer is given the tools needed to become a successful, confident artist and the means to carry those skills throughout life. CFCArts Youth Theatre Programs provide the young people of Central Florida with a place to use their artistic talents, and to learn the value of giving back to the community.

Jr. Companies
PreK – 2nd Grade
Targeted towards our youngest performers who are testing the waters of the performing arts and gaining vital theatre skills! Usually they will be involved in two big moments, songs and dances, or scenes of the show. Students learn age-appropriate acting, vocal, and dance roles, with a Teaching Artist to watch and follow. No auditions are needed to join.
Companies
3rd – 12th grade
One step up from our Jr. Companies, this group is for students who want to experience being a part of a theatre production, but may not be ready for or desire a significant speaking or singing role. Companies students play ensemble and small featured roles in our theatre productions. Our Companies provide an inclusive, fun, low-stress environment for students of various ages and abilities to enjoy being in a show!
Jr. Troupe
3rd – 12th Grade
Our Jr. Troupe is a great fit for students who are ready for the next step! These students have a passion for the performing arts and are building important theatre skills by playing lead or supporting speaking and/or singing roles in our all-ages productions.
Troupe
3rd – 12th grade
(6th-12th grade depending on show content)
Our Troupe is geared towards advanced students who may want to pursue the performing arts in higher education or as a career! Students in the Troupe will be given more complex and challenging theatrical content to perform, including full-length shows, exciting new works, and more. This is the highest level we provide in our youth theatre programs, and students audition for all roles in these high-level shows in order to build their resumes and performance skills.
Camps
Pre K – 12th Grade
Each summer and during some school breaks, CFCArts offers a variety of exciting summer camps to children and teens! From creative arts camps for our preschool children to intensives for our older performers, these camps are designed to meet students where they are on their artistic journey. A fun, encouraging environment allows youth to explore the performing arts, work with talented, professional artists, make new friends, and grow as a performer.
