Presented by the CFCArts New Works Chorale
Join the CFCArts New Works Chorale in their inaugural concert bringing new music and new arrangements by local Central Florida composers to life!
The inaugural season of the New Works Chorale will include some works from newer local composers like Jamey Ray, founding member of Voctave, Dr. David Brunner, Director of Choral Activities for UCF, and nationally known composer, Eric Whitacre, one of today’s most popular and frequently-performed composers. Jamey Ray is a well-known choral arranger and composer. His choral pieces have been featured as top sellers on JW Pepper, used in multiple All-State festivals, and can be heard in Walt Disney World’s EPCOT Center performed daily by the Voices of Liberty where he is also a group member. Dr. Brunner is acclaimed as one today’s most active and versatile conductors and composers. His wide and varied expertise embraces all ages in professional, university, public school, community, church and children’s choruses. Eric Edward Whitacre is an American composer and conductor, and speaker, known for his choral, orchestral and wind ensemble music. In March 2016, he was appointed as Los Angeles Master Chorale‘s first artist-in-residence at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.
