Metamorphoses

Based on the myths recorded by the Roman poet Ovid (43 BC – 17 AD), Metamorphoses uses an ensemble of actors to retell ancient stories of gods and fortunes both good and bad. Originally produced at Chicago’s Lookingglass Theatre Company, Metamorphoses has been performed on Broadway and toured around the world. A shallow pool serves as the primary scenic element and is one of the hallmarks of Zimmerman’s adaptation of the classical myths.

Members of the CFCArts Theatre Program will present Metamorphoses, written by Mary Zimmerman, on select dates October 21 through November 6 at 7:30 and/or 3:00pm at the CFCArts Blackbox Theatre, located at Central Florida Community Arts 250 SW Ivanhoe Blvd, Orlando, FL 32804.

Seating for all Metamorphoses shows is limited and advanced purchase is strongly recommended. Priority seating can be purchased for $25, guaranteed seating can be purchased in advance for $18 (credit card/Paypal) or, if available, can be purchased for $15 at the door. Tickets for Industry Night are just $12! Doors open 30 minutes before show time and all seating is general admission.
