Live in Living Color: My Life in Cabaret

Central Florida Community Arts proudly announces Live in Living Color: My Life in Cabaret, starring Jordan Tyler Squires! You’ve seen him as the tenor voice from our stage and shows, performing hits such as “Bring Him Home,” “Where Are You Christmas” and “The Grinch.” He does double-duty for the organization, also working as the choreographer of our shows. And now he will perform for YOU, as part of an intimate audience in CFCArts’ Monthly Cabaret, on March 15, 16 and 17.

Jordan is a singer with incredible range, ease of agility and unique style. A graduate of the University of Mobile with a degree in Musical Theatre, he has sung for and with some amazing names in show business, including Jennifer Hudson, Sandi Patti, Lee Greenwood, Steve Harvey, and one of the top Christian Contemporary groups in history, Avalon. He has performed all over the country with multiple groups and has enjoyed life on the road, both as a front man and a backup singer to greats, singing for thousands of people in every style and venue possible – from cruise ships to multiple Disney stages to the White House. Most recently Jordan is thankful for the opportunity to have joined Next Generation Kids, where he teaches voice, dance and acting.

The repertoire to be performed in Live in Living Color: My Life in Cabaret includes

  • “Bring Him Home” (Les Miserables)
  • “If I Can’t Love Her” (Disney’s Beauty & the Beast)
  • “Feeling Good”

  • “What Do I Need With Love” (Thoroughly Modern Millie)
  • “Save the Last Dance For Me.”

With Michael Dombrow on piano, the show will also feature guest performances by Lorri M. Key, Tiffany Trilli, Andrea Tyler and CFCArts Founder and Executive Director Joshua Vickery!
