Charlotte’s Web (Grades PreK-12)

Students in Grades PreK through 12 this school year:  Join us for the return of our Youth Theatre Companies with our first-ever Companies and Jr. Troupe play: Charlotte’s Web!

Charlotte’s Web is a full-length play by Joseph Robinette, based on the classic children’s book by E.B. White. Wilbur’s no ordinary farmhouse pig and he’d do anything to avoid ending up on the dinner table. But help arrives from the most unlikely of places… a spider’s web. As Wilbur grows bigger, his friendship with the tiny spider Charlotte grows too. But how far will she go to save her best friend? This is a beautiful, knowing play about friendship that will give our young actors a great opportunity to shine, and the audience an evening of enchantment.

There are three ways for students to participate onstage in Charlotte’s Web:

  • Jr. Company – All students in grades PreK-2, playing the Goslings and Baby Spiders! No audition required.
  • Companies – Students in grades 3-12, playing various Ensemble and Featured roles. Auditions are encouraged but not required; everyone is welcome!
  • Jr. Troupe – Students in grades 3-12, playing Supporting and Lead roles (click here for Character Descriptions and other info.) Auditions required; everyone will be cast in either the Companies or Jr. Troupe!

CFCArts is a Gardiner Scholarship provider, and the Gardiner Scholarship can be used to cover program tuition! CFCArts scholarships are also available.
