Caring for the Caregiver Seminar

A Collaborative Initiative Funded by The Pabst Steinmetz Foundation

This two-hour seminar is designed to use theater as a catalyst for caregivers to identify the thoughts and feelings that accompany caregiving. While caregiving is a challenging journey, the focus of the seminar is to encourage the caregiver to take time for self care and to identify the positive learnings they experience during caregiving. After all, caregiving is about making memories as much as it is managing day to day needs. Tailored to the issues caregiver’s face in a variety of situations (caregiving for a child, a spouse, a parent, etc.), the seminar will provide specific tools and experiential opportunities in a fun and welcoming atmosphere for different types of caregiving.
