The CFCArts Academy offers affordable performing arts classes to artists of all ages and experience levels!

 

Classes & Workshops are offered to teach students of varying levels to love and perform music. All experiences are offered by trained, professional teaching artists in a supportive environment that is conducive to learning.

Lori is a dedicated violin teacher with a heart for connecting through music. With 40+ years of playing experience and a degree in Music Education, she loves sharing the joy of music with others. Lori is known for being patient and encouraging as she guides students on their musical journey, helping them achieve their musical aspirations. Besides teaching, Lori is an avid performer and a proud member of the CFCArts Symphony Orchestra for over 7 years, where she continues to share her musical talents.
Jill Dautzenberg

Jill Dautzenberg graduated from Millikin University with a Bachelor of Music in Applied Voice and has a Master’s degree from University of Phoenix. She is an experienced vocal coach and piano instructor. Jill has been partnering with Central Florida Community Arts for over 5  years. She is also the director of the CFCArts Adult Cabaret Studio. With her company Jiller music, she performs all over Central Florida as a  featured concert vocalist, band vocalist, jazz band vocalist, back-up  vocalist, recording artist, and piano bar musician. She is experienced in teaching techniques in Jazz, Blues, Rock, Pop, Musical Theatre and Opera.

Scott’s formal training comes from Kirkwood College and Coe College in Cedar Rapids, IA where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance and Education. However, it was the “school of life” through performing, directing, teaching and business management that he feels has given him the ability to coach students toward achieving their personal goals. Scott has taught privately for over 25 years and is also a Teaching Artist for Central Florida Community Arts. He has directed children’s outreach choirs and special music projects. Scott currently teaches private piano, voice, guitar and ukulele at his studio, The Music Room, located at 1255 EE Williamson Rd. Longwood, FL.

Liam Joshua Munn is a New York-based Actor, musician & Vocal pedagogue. Whether it’s preparing for your next audition or you want to improve on your karaoke game – my job is to support musical performers of any level or style to produce healthy, sustainable sounds that provide impactful storytelling. Our three major pillars of learning: (1) vocal technique and flexibility (increase range and ease vocal tension), (2) musical theatre repertoire and audition preparation, & (3) vocal health and sustainability. The LJM Studio Technique is holistic; we talk a lot about music and technique but it’s all about storytelling.

Damien Simon

Damien is a working music composer and educator. He has been teaching and writing/performing professional scores for over 20 years. In regards to teaching, he teaches both privately and in a classroom atmosphere for students as young as Pre-K to senior adults. He approaches his teaching style in a way that students get a rounded music education but can also have fun. Music as a whole involves many different areas of education (math, logic, language, physics, science, creativity). “I believe students of music need to be given this education. Playing well is one thing, playing well and knowing what you are doing will make you rounded as a musician.” Damien also teaches guitar, banjo, bass, ukulele, piano, composition, and music theory.

Angelyn Traylor

Angelyn Traylor is a pianist and music educator in the Orlando area. She has worked as a company pianist for Orlando Ballet since 2019 and is an active collaborative pianist, performing chamber music and playing for a number of arts organizations and schools throughout central Florida. In addition to performing, Angelyn maintains a full studio of private piano students of all ages in the Orlando and Sanford areas and is an active member of the Central Florida Music Teachers Association. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Instrumental and Vocal Music Education from Auburn University and a master’s degree in Instrumental Conducting from the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music.
Ralph Venezia

Ralph Venezia (trumpet) is active as a performer, educator, arranger and composer. His private students consistently achieve superior ratings at MPAs. He is Music Director of the Florida Brass and works with Impact and The Bahia Shrine Brass ensembles. His studio is Brass Basset Studio.
