The Music of Rodgers & Hammerstein: The Golden Age of Musical Theatre
Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II were the composing team whose musical theatre writing partnership has been called the greatest of the 20th century. Their work was the catalyst that began the golden age of musical theatre and is still respected over a half-century later. Join us as members of Central Florida Community Arts sing songs from shows such as South Pacific, Carousel, The King and I, and The Sound of Music, and prepare yourself for a night of great classic Broadway music!
The Music of Rodgers & Hammerstein: The Golden Age of Musical Theatre will take place on August 9 and 10 at 7:30pm and on August 11 at 6:30pm, at the home of Central Florida Community Arts: 1111 N. Orange Avenue, Orlando FL, 32804.
Reserved seating can be purchased in advance for $12 (credit card/Paypal) or General Admission seating can be purchased for $10 at the door (cash/check only).
Snacks and beverages will be available for sale and proceeds will be donated to Central Florida Community Arts.
This event is SOLD OUT for all 3 shows this weekend.
We will make an on-site, in-person, 'day of' wait list for the remaining shows — in the event that any patrons with tickets are not present, those on the wait list will be offered the opportunity to purchase those tickets at 7:30pm, based on the order in which they are on the wait list. Thank you!
