Voice
  • Voice Lessons are offered to students age 12 through adult; these lessons focus on developing the singer’s vocal technique, breath support, note placement, and other aspects of singing and performance.
  • Vocal Coaching is offered on a case-by-case basis to children under the age of 12. These lessons are focused on confidence and posture on stage, matching pitch, facial expression, and correct breathing. As the voice progresses and matures, the child will be recommended for full voice lessons.
Piano
  • Piano lessons are offered to students age 4 through adult.
  • The student must have access to a piano or keyboard for practice.
Guitar
  • Lessons offered in acoustic and electric guitar.
  • Offered to ages 6 through adult.
  • Student must have access to a size appropriate guitar for lessons and practice throughout the week.
Strings
  • Lessons offered in violin, viola, cello and bass
  • Offered to students ages 4 through adult.
  • Student must have access to a size-appropriate instrument for lessons and practice during the week.
Woodwinds
  • Lessons offered in flute, clarinet, saxophone, and oboe.
  • Offered to students ages 8 through adult.
  • Student must have access to the instrument for lessons and practice during the week.
Brass
  • Lessons offered in trumpet, trombone, French horn, euphonium, tuba,
  • Offered to students ages 8 through adult.
  • Student must have access to the instrument for lessons and practice during the week.
Percussion
  • Lessons offered in classic/rock/jazz style drumming.
  • Offered to students ages 10 through adult.
  • Student must have access to a drum set for practice during the week.
Acting
  • Private Acting Lessons are offered to serious theater students who would like focused instruction on character development, monologue performance and advanced acting techniques.
Dance
  • Private, one-on-one dance lessons are offered to Intermediate/Advanced level dancers. The primary focus of these lessons will be to prepare solo work for auditions or performance.

Piano Keys

The private lesson program is designed to give the student affordable, one-on-one focused lesson on a weekly basis with a highly qualified instructor proficient in their field of performance art. These lessons include voice, piano, guitar, woodwinds, brass, strings, and percussion for children and adults. Private lessons are scheduled according to the date of registration and registration is ongoing throughout the year given instructor availability. Ear-Training/Sight Singing and/or Theory Group Classes are recommended to supplement private music instruction, especially for those with serious aspirations in music.


All private lessons are taken on a monthly schedule, with registration available year round at the instructor’s availability. To register for private lessons, complete the registration application and schedule an interview with the School Director. During this interview, you will discuss goals, scheduling and choose the best instructor for you. Lessons can start as early as the following week.
