Founded in January of 2013, the School of Performing Arts exists to serve the community of Central Florida by offering affordable performance arts lessons and classes to artists of all ages! The performing arts provide the student with a sense of confidence and self-expression, and give students of all levels an outlet to experience the joy of creating their art. Music education gives the students the opportunity to explore their potential as a performer and creates a feeling of community as they work together further the arts in Central Florida.

At the School of Performing Arts, we are passionate about providing a safe and nurturing environment where students are encouraged to explore various areas of the arts in a way that is challenging supportive and encouraging, yet challenging to the student.

The instructors at the School are professional artistic performers and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to their lessons and classes. Our instructors are out in the world of the arts actually taking part in the areas that they teach. We have found that this creates a rich environment in which our students can learn.

It is the vision of the School of Performing Arts to give artist of all ages, levels, and backgrounds the opportunity to study their craft at an affordable rate with an excellent instructor. Therefore, the School is committed to offering lessons at a rate that is lower than most schools in the area, while ensuring that our instructors are paid a competitive wage.

The CFCArts School of Performing Arts values inclusiveness. Therefore we do not tolerate discrimination of any kind, we welcome everyone into our artistic family, and we actively strive to reflect and fairly serve the rich social and cultural diversity of our community.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with two instructors at CFCArts — one for voice and one for acting. Both of them are encouraging and helpfully constructive. They are approachable and each put me at ease immediately. I have progressed faster than I expected and recommend the school and their instructors without any reservations.
