Young Artists Orchestra

The CFCArts Young Artists Orchestra (YAO) was founded in August of 2015 and has quickly become one of the most inclusive and unique youth orchestras in the Central Florida area! This orchestra is open to all instrumentalists in elementary through high school, and each rehearsal is a fun, uplifting experience where the students play challenging music from both classical and popular/modern repertoire. The YAO was created to give young instrumentalists from all backgrounds and experience levels a safe and encouraging environment to create music while getting to know other young performers from the community.

Meet the Young Artists Orchestra

The Young Artists Orchestra rehearses on a Spring and Fall semester schedule with a concert at the culmination of each semester. Registration for the YAO is open year round, and new students may audition each week prior to the rehearsal.

What do we play?

Each season, the YAO concert will have a different theme; the directors choose a broad range of music from classical pieces to movie scores. Season Dues – $175 per season (payment plans available). The Spring 2018 concert Music to the Rescue! includes incredible selections from your favorite action adventures!

Spring 2018

The CFCArts Young Artists Orchestra is looking for members for their spring season both in the full orchestra and in the new YAO String Ensemble!

The YAO String Ensemble is open to young string players age 5 and older, who are currently in a string book 2 or higher. No auditions are necessary for the string ensemble, simply email to begin registration.
